A lot of work being accomplished yesterday in the hangar by the team. Jim Aaron continues to make great progress on the paratrooper seats and is in the process of drilling all the holes out to start the riveting process of the supports and mounts to the airplane. Don Millar and Jim spent most of the afternoon preparing holes for rivets. Joe Matz, Troy Warinner & myself removed the left main fuel tank for repair and further inspection. We were able to find one more spot that would eventually become an issue and decided to repair it now. All discrepancies were well within the confines for the Douglas repair manual. More landing gear components and parts were painted yesterday as more parts come back from the paint booth and await being reassembled and put back on the airplane.
